Only by being thanked. Every /thanks moves ⭐ from the giver's daily allowance to the person thanked; the giver gets no ⭐ for it.
If the server turned on join buttons, others can add their own ⭐ to a thanks in one click - everyone except its giver and the person thanked, once per thanks.
Everyone has a daily allowance - how much ⭐ they can give away per day. It refills within 15 minutes after midnight in the server's timezone, and what you didn't give is not carried over. Getting thanks doesn't use it up.
Your own /profile shows how much you can still give today.
Yourself, bots, and people who have left the server. The reason has to be at least 10 characters long, unless the server changed that, so every thanks says what it's for.
Yes: any emoji, your server's own included, and how much each member can give per day. A new allowance applies from the next midnight in the server's timezone.
Levels are off until an admin turns them on. Then every thanks you give - a join button too - earns you XP, the same for any amount (10 unless the server changed it). Being thanked earns ⭐, not XP.
Your level follows from your XP and the server's thresholds. /profile shows your level and how much XP is left to the next one. XP is never spent.
By ⭐ received in the last 7 days - a rolling week, not since Monday. People who left the server are not ranked.
The weekly post is off until you pick a channel and turn it on. By default it goes out on Mondays at 10:00 in the server's timezone, with the top 5.
In the shop in your browser, once you sign in with Discord. Levay also tells you your balance after every purchase. /profile shows everything you've received in total, which is more than you can spend once you've bought something.
Levay needs Manage Roles, and Discord only lets a bot give roles below its own. In Server Settings → Roles, drag the Levay role above the roles you sell. Levay never gives a role with admin rights.
The order stays waiting. A role can't be marked fulfilled by hand - only Levay gives it - so cancel the order in Orders to return the ⭐, and the member can buy the role again.
The price has to fit their ⭐ balance, and the product has to be in stock and on sale (one that hasn't started yet shows as Soon). A product can also ask for a minimum of XP, and roles and content can be bought once per person.
Physical and manual orders wait in Orders until you hand them over. Cancelling one there returns the ⭐ to the buyer, and buyers can cancel their own waiting orders in /orders.
Codes and content are delivered at purchase, and roles as soon as Levay gives them, so those can't be cancelled.
With /shop in Discord, or in a browser at levay.xyz/s/ followed by the shop address you set in the shop settings. Members sign in with Discord there to see their balance and buy.
Levay learns who is on the server from its member list. Someone who just joined, or joined while Levay was offline, can be missing for a moment - Levay starts a sync when this happens, so try again in a minute.
Levay's commands work only in the server's channels, where it knows which server you mean. The replies to /profile, /shop and /orders are private: only you see them.
Members who turned off "Direct messages from server members" can't get DMs from any bot. Turn on "Welcome in a channel" too, so everyone sees a welcome.
Levay needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links there. If you changed the channel or its permissions, pick it again and save.
While something is missing, whoever runs a Levay command gets a private note saying what is missing and where.
